I did not go (all credit to those who did) but I suspect that to lose 2-0 against a side that racked up 14 goals in their last three home games was not a complete disaster, especially given the fact Grandison went off at half-time. I would not expect to see too many changes except perhaps Richards dropping to the bench. I would also like to see Bradshaw given 90 minutes at home to see if he can translate his form in the reserves to the first team. If we do not want to get sucked back into the relegation fight Bury is a must-win game for us. We neeed to play the ball on the floor through midfield and we also need our players to play at a high tempo and not to start the first fifteen minutes of each half as if they are in a trance.
Some good points made there ghmm. I think we sometimes cannot blame forwards if it seems service is short from midfield. Either Richards stays in CM or we drop him. Even when in CM he perhaps has recently had an attacking threat that is limited.
my view, from a distance, is we were up against the best side in the league, who did not allow town to play their game. swindon beat the leaders tranmere 5-0 so town got off lightly. and yes i would play the same team on saturday, weather and injuries permitting.
