An entertaining read. Having flicked through the thread my favourite quote is "That was not 'hell', that was a football ground with 11,000 very quiet welsh folk in it for 70 minutes."
The general consensus up here is that they were lucky not to have had Branco sent off. They also begrudgingly admired our goals. P
Pulsating match, with 3 world class saves by Fielding, and a Keith Fearesque sumptuous finish by Agard. RP, you must be so happy !
And fair play to him !! He could have delivered a typical footballer/non-committal/vanilla reply but instead he wore his heart on his (ripped!) sleeve and told it how it was. My already high opinion of him just went up another notch !
Am I correct in thinking that if City win at PNE and MK Dons lose we are promoted? Nice feelings all round after I got home yesterday and turned my computer on ,expecting bad news from Ashton Gate, to find we had stuffed them in the best possible fashion and now it is just a matter of time before it's confirmed. Exactly the right result at exactly the right time against a team that was owed a hiding by us.
Just read through that lot, what a bitter bunch of deluded inbreds.. "I'm gonna go in to work and lay one on the bloke behind me etc" I love to be that City fan and have read that.. mouthy tossers. They kept going about how good their fans were too. I only heard them about twice. I though they were ****!
