Swindon fan in peace, we play you in a couple of weeks time , how many seats have you got in your away end? it is likely that we could win the title at your place and at the moment it looks that in the region of 1500 to 2000 town fans will be travelling to you, so i should imagine that tickets will be in short supply. Wishing you all good luck in your quest for the play offs , and hope you knock Oxford out of them .
Welcome redjed, i would imagine you would be given pretty much all of the Brian Moore Stand (the usual away end) under heavy policing. You lot always bring a lot and considering the match could either put us into the playoffs or win you the title its likely to be a sellout. We rarely give the Brian Moore to home fans and if you are bringing 2000 or so you will be given all of it I assume. Hope this was some help and look forward to beating you 5-0 again
I have to admit that you should have had the points when you came to us earlier in the season, but as you know 2 brillant goals got us out of the s**t. cant see you tanking us 5-0 this time but i reckon it will be one hell of a game with it being a draw or a goal either way , lol i think ive coverred all the options .
Will Luke Rooney play ? - I hope so. I expect he's well and truly forgotten where the goals are at Priestfield - ( he'll always be closer to the referee's red card than either set of nets )
Rooney has been a good boy since he joined us , dont think he has had a card yet , lol dont know if PDC will play him , it all depends on his last game and how he has preformed in training , PDC is a hell of a task master if you dont perform you dont get into the team , also we have Lee Holmes in from Southampton and he is playing in the same postion as Rooney, and playing well as well , if Holmes plays Rooney will be on the bench and may get 30 mins in the second half.
As previously has been stated 1500-2000 will not be a problem. The only restrictions that might be possible is if the local authority apply conditions as in our Stoke cup game especially as the number of travelling fans you are quoting is probably more. Although AFC Wimbledon brought down nearly 1,200 and there was no issues.
I noticed on Friday that PDC criticsised a lot of his players for not working hard enough, but Rooney was the one he took off, so I'm beginning to wonder if Rooney's honeymoon period is over, because PDC doesn't muck about if players aren't performing,he seems to get rid of sharpish.
