Skysports.com understands that Sunderland have lined up moves for two of Scandinavia's brightest prospects. Helsingborgs' Robert Mirosavic and Linus Sjoberg of Vasteras are both understood to be on Wearside training with the Black Cats. Mirosavic, a 16-year-old forward, is very highly rated and has previously trained at Arsenal and Manchester City. He has also been scouted by Barcelona, Real Madrid and Chelsea in the past 12 months. But Sunderland are looking to try and secure a coup, and he has now linked up with them this week. Mirosavic is joined by Sjoberg, a 17-year-old winger from Vasteras, who is seen to have a huge future ahead of him, and a couple of years ago he trained with Manchester United. And, again despite interest from elsewhere, Sunderland have taken him on trial with a view to signing him. Meanwhile, Sunderland continue to look at Aristotle Guerin-Lokonga. Lokonga, who is currently playing for local non-league outfit Jarrow Roofing, is a former Wolves apprentice who has also been attracting interest from a number of Football League clubs. Looks like Bruce is doing a good job building for the future!
hopefully not but with our un ambitious fans and owner he probably will when we're in the championship
I think Bendtner could play a huge part in getting some Scandinavian players in here. As a region, they are technically as good as anyone in Europe, generally have excellent temperament and professional standards and fantastic work ethics. I'd be far happier looking at that part of the world for foreign talent rather than south America or Africa personally.
They vare so young. He has no excuse of needing time for them to gel - they'll have 2 or 3 seasons to do it. x
Man U will be ****ting themseves when they read we could have a lad from Jarrow roofing in the team, ger in there Brucie, he will slate them
