Less than a week has passed since Tyson Fury became Heavyweight World Champion and now its time for two flyweights to go head to head to be crowned punching above your weight league 2 champion and the main event will take place at the aptly named Crown Ground in front of around 1500 spectators. After coming out of the Lions New Den victorious with no new injury concerns the only problem that I can see that could give Gaz a headache is if our new Josh Scowen, Luke O'Nien's booking count is it four or is it five, in all the excitement I've kind of forgotten myself do you feel lucky punk! but we do have McGinn and Rowe to fall back on. The other problem for any traveling fans is the fact more rain is forecast to fall on an already sodden Lancashire that may put this game in doubt but lets hope it goes ahead and the Chairboys travel home with the belt and another 3 points but I'm expecting a draw and a rematch next April at Adams Park
Ive got the relativly short journey to this one for my first trip to accrington, so lets hope it stays dry (im not optamistic!).... Regarding the actual game we need to pick up some form in a tricky christmas period and this is the start of that
POSTPONED The League Two match between Accrington Stanley and Wycombe Wanderers has been postponed because of a waterlogged pitch at the Crown Ground. No new date for the fixture has yet been agreed.
Exactly mate but I did warn them the players should be fresh for Tuesday though shame I can't make it
Does the ref never watch the weather forecast ffs! Should have been called off early this morning before the fans wasted time and money getting up there, yet another midweek game to add to the list now
made it just north of warrington before hearing it was called off and it annoyed me, i dread to think how those coming from wycombe felt! Looking at the pictures the decision shouold have been made much earlier, poor refereeing as normal but in a very different way!
