Dont know how reliable Lee Ryder usually is but it's fair to assume we'll demand Taylor as part of any deal for Routledge. Routledge + 1 million or something. Good deal if we do it IMO, we need proper LB cover more than Routedge.

I've never really seen him play but they rate him and he's still young, so if we paid £2-2.5M or something I woudnt mind, given that we probably value Routledge at £1-1.5M

I'd say straight swap is about fair if Swansea rate Taylor that highly. Rouledge is only worth about £2m-£3m max.

Yeah, I'd go for this. Straight swap is probably fairest.

I think a straight swap would be fair, but the difference is they rate Taylor and we (Pardew) dont rate Routledge.

This, Naylor is in their starting 11, Routledge has been stuffed with the #53 shirt and its clear we dont want him. Therefore Swansea will probably want more than just a straight swap so they can get themself a Naylor replacement with the ££.

They make it sound like we're going to sell him though. Why would we let him go for 1.5 mil when thats what we're trying to get Taylor for? Seems silly because if we sell Routledge to them then they have no reason to give us Taylor.

Don't really want Wayne to be honest, but if you want Taylor you can have him probably for a million plus Wayne ;) cheap at half the price - anyone knows what the hell that means ? lol

Also doesn't look like Swansea will get him according to NUFC.com Leicester are the only ones to match his valuation and he's in talks with them now

Straight swap would be fair. Swans want to keep Taylor, Pardew isn't fussed about Routledge but I'd say Wayne is the better player (ignoring 'potential').

Still a bit miffed over this 'release clause', it should be Taylor+£1m if that's the case.

There is no £1m release clause, otherwise we couldn't refuse you if the offer came in, I don't know why you there is ? But I do think you are getting confused here Wayne + £1m and you can have Taylor

Ah sorry, thought there was. *holds hands up*

I actually really rate Routledge and would slap a price of about £4m on him.
