Difficult time ahead with Swansea agreeing 28 million for Bony today...good luck to them I say, but I warn them this....Don't come to the Capital poaching our stars pals!
It would be a nice gesture to all the tax payers of swanc if they voluntarily increased their rent on the council stadium.
It would be a nice if Swansea compensated all those businesses and people to which they owed money when they went into Administration.
I was one of those people whoops and just had to write it off - not bitter at all, just business - not nice at the time but was worth it to save the club, a club which is now putting millions into the local economy both directly and indirectly.
We must admit Swansea are doing something right on the transfer front. Not sure how much they got from these in the last few years. Michu Vorm Davies Chico Allen Sinclair Graham
Michu Still our player/ We will cash him in this summer Vorm £3.5 M Davies £12 M/ Straight swap with Sigurdsson Chico £3.6 M Allen £15 M Sinclair £8 M Graham £5.5 M Bony £28 M By the way your players are safe from us, so no need to worry.......................
We have a fantastic player in ALF who could be an excellent replacement for Bony. At a cut price £20m he could be a bargain. We also have a superstar from Rotherham and an ex Manchester United player who could do an equally good job. And if you require a replacement for Monk, Russel Slade is your man.
Bit unfair on Revell Whoops - I thought he made an encouraging start on Saturday. However, don't forget we have a very subtle striker from Norway and an underused Spanish striker. Both available at very competitive prices. Would even consider a bogof. Plus another English striker who is chomping at the bit for a game but now a bit slower off the mark than he was when we signed him. Could have him for £500k.
I agree but don't see him as a striker who will guide us to the Premiership. It was the Rotherham reference that attracted me but he did do OK as did Malone.
I don't think he will be the greatest goal scorer but in terms of mobility, effort and aerial skills he was far ahead of Macheda and ran the channels well. I could even see him playing up top with Jones (as Jones knows where the back of the net is) if Slade persists with 4 - 4 - 2 although that would mean we resort to a long ball game - all the time. Malone did well once he settled down. I assume he had a knock for Declan to replace him. He certainly likes to bomb forwards. Got caught ball watching a couple of times - as did Morrison.
swansea in its previous incarnation left creditors being owed loads of money; I think they got a penny in the pound. Yes I know the new incarnation is a different legal entity and has no legal liability to those who suffered by its predecessor's reckless behaviour and indifference to its creditors but now that they have all these riches, they should consider paying those local businesses and people who suffered considerably from a moral standpoint.
End of the day the Jacks are cutting it and more in the prem and fair do's to them. They deserve to be where they are.. Still hate em though
Well said Jay, good to see you boys back in blue also! Didn't think Tan would do such a U turn?..............
I think it was 5 pence in the pound Ninian - desperate measures and all that. Fairplay to Cartoon for taking it on the chin but I actually agree - now that we are financially flush we should track those people/businesses down and pay them all back at the current value - it should still only be a couple of million. ps from a footie fans perspective, glad you are back in blue, should never have been allowed in the first place
good luck 2em, make hay while the sun shines is the saying I think.........and they are ......the fkrs
