Does anybody know the dude? and can swanselona himself make a post here, im absolutly dumbfounded by this, i get a PM saying why am i Swanselona! there is a matching IP address apparently,but im back home in swansea at the moment even though an IP address isnt any proof of where somebody is i find the intrusion into my personal details for no reason what so ever as an insult . Im sure swanselona will feel the same way, truely bizzare .

When i was a MOD i had no reason to look up people IP addresses , there was no need and i was dealing with plenty more **** then than now. Thats the worry for me, as far as i can tell there hasnt been any reason for MODS to go around and look up peoples details! it seems to be used as a way of somebody fulfilling voyaristic tendencie

It may not be a big deal to some and they are probably right, but i have NO enemies on not606 and no reason to run around pretending to be somebody else, its truely nuts what has happened.

It is also vital you read the following information, of for example 2 people are using the same wireless mobile broadband user (like 3 or vodaphone) then the ip address can be located at a single company address, hence why im apparently in London right now

I thought it was strange last week when Musty addressed me as Dilligaf. I didn't think anything of it at the time and put it down to a typo but seeing this made me re visit the thread and indeed he does think I'm him. Well I'm not but the worrying thing is what on earth is going on in the background because this isn't the first time and how many other posters personal details are being looked up for no good reason?

 

Exactly. Apart from getting it totally wrong he ain't even said sorry! What kind of knobhead is in control here? I have given him all my info so he can see where I am but the guy has just totally ****ed everything up. There's no reason to pretend to be anyone else there isn't anyone here to argue with anyway!! Musty, I need to stick up for Norway here mate. The IP tool doesn't work accurately, and I myself have about 7 ips, as I use several computers. You didn't have a reason to check ips, did you? It's not like he's disrupting the board with two user names.I think NJ deserves an apology, because I'll be damned if this forum it's losing NJ or any poster for that matter.*******

 

Im not norway i can guarantee that Seeing as I made a post picking on him a few weeks ago in the thread about a new moderator, then that wouldn't go too well if I was norway's alter ego.

Well I think it was Norway I picked on, I can't recall. Will have to go check.

But anyway, I am living in Port Talbot, used to live in Swansea though, and as for IP's, never take them too seriously. They are not always unique to a single user. You can ban the IP of 1 user, but it can effect more than 1 user.

My IP is static, it never changes unless I use my phone when I am out, which I have to say I don't use my phone for browsing forums. I know this as I run forums, and my IP always stays the same, Id be surprised if there is more than 1 ip address for me on not606.

As for how Norway has shared the same IP, this im uncertain of, do you by any chance use dial up, and are you by any chance with virgin? As I know dial up used to have non static IP's, each time you turned it on, you would be given a new IP. Its a pain in the arse tracking multi accounts on certain forums I run if they use dial up.

On a side note, could you remove the link sharing my IP norway, as mentioned my IP is static So that is me all times of the year, and would rather that information not be available on a public forum, granted it can be found, but I would rather make stuff like that harder to find if you get my drift

But sorry Musty, your talking out of your backside in regards to the matching IP's. IP addresses are far from accurate. In which case you do owe Norway an apology. First big giveaway is the fact he has multiple IP's. This is the first thing that means he may not have a static IP. And unless he has been sleeping with my mum whilst me and the old man have been out of the house, he certainly hasn't been here.

Mind you when I first read the topics I did ask myself if I had moved to Norway anytime recently, heck who knew he was in Swansea
