I'm pleased to see this to be honest. Sinclair flatters to deceive at times but he's certainly one of our better players. Great news.
guys he wanted to go the other day he has seen that no big club has any interest in him like the others and he has realised he had better sign a contract quick......If a big club wanted him do you think he would be keen to sign now... Im glad no big team wants him as i think he will be better than he was last season for us.....Its called looking after yourself and you cant blame him for that.....
"guys he wanted to go the other day" Says who? Has he put in a transfer request? I reckon there are a few Prem clubs that would have picked him up. If he 'wants to go' he could run his contract down, which he's just said he doesn't want to do. We should be glad that he's re-signing for us. Stop putting a negative spin on everything, even though I know you can't help yourself at times.
so if liverpool was interested or any of the other big clubs that he would first refuse to sign a new contract for us and all of a sudden when the season is about to start he would turn them down and sign for us.. get real ffs...
Good news. I hope he does stay. I think he is the type of player that would benefit immensely from working with Laudrup and perhaps will send a message to any "want-aways" in the club.
So Sinclair said he "wanted to go"? Pray, point me in the direction of that report if you can. Even if he was just keeping his options open it doesn't mean he "wanted to go" does it? Well?
dont care either way, if he wants to go sell and get a good price, he hardly set the world alight last season
Can't understand the Sinclair knockers! Okay, he didn't set the world alight last term but he scored some important goals and had quite a few assists! Kept my eye on him at matches last season and he worked tirelessly; tracking back and making some great tackles - he was never going to be the prolific goal scorer he was in our promotion season because he was targeted as a danger man and was marked out of many games - but the defenders watching him meant that there was more space for others. Am a big fan of Scotty and would be very happy if he was still with us next season!
My fear is that neither Allen nor Taylor will wear a Swans shirt again. If Man U come in for Taylor then you can't blame him if he goes. If Allen does go to Liverpool though, I'd be surprised even at this stage. I smell fear coming from Liverpool, there's too much hype, too many references to their past, too much negativity seeping from the place. Spurs would be the better team for Allen. Sinclair, personally not worried if he stays or not; as long as the price is right. Last years performances, and so far in the Olympics, he's hardly looked a threat. If he goes we won't miss him as we would Allen and Taylor. Thank goodness there's no speculation surrounding Dyer, I'd sell the kids to keep him at the Liberty.
Scott can learn a lot about composure from his new boss, is definitely an asset for us with his pace, assists and penalty scoring ability so be great if we can hang on to him.
if you dont know whats going on kangaroo then hey its not my problem and i dont care, Its your problem you deal with it.. totally agree with cartoon here. sinclair did not show his best last season but he scored some important goals, He was a bit greedy under rodgers and i dont think he will be under laudrup... we can see he has the ability and i hope he puts pen to paper after he has finished with team GB as i think he is an important player for us and will shine this coming season....
This is great news for us if its true. Lets hope that HJ puts a nice little £10-£20million buy out clause in his contract though!
maybe £20 million is stretching it a bit.. but definately £8-£10 million. Players today tend to insist on a reasonable buy out clause and wont agree on the club putting in a over the top price that could jepodize a big club move.....
