Just left Forwards Festival in Bristol and couldn’t follow the game. Shame we couldn’t continue with the expected run of form. Sounds like a mix of tired team and poor refereeing let us down. Saw the video of Willock pull and it’s no wonder players go down if refs and linesman can’t get it right.

So poor results for us - meanwhile great set from Ishmael Ensemble; Khruangbin were terrific and Little Simz was incredible.

One of those games yesterday, looked slightly lethargic. Johanson seemed to be playing further forward of the 3 midfielders. It just didn't click and that's this division for you. We won't get displays like against Watford and Hull every week. Its all still a learning curve for Beale and I agree with him that he should have maybe freshened things up a tad. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but to be honest, I'm expecting a topsy turvy string of results throughout the season.

I’m almost happy with win one, lose one draw one if the progress in style and coherence is clear, edging up to 40% win rate. What I can’t stand is those soul crushing runs losing six on the bounce.

Didn’t see any of yesterdays game so can’t really comment. Overall feel still positive.

Appreciate Beale's honesty and proper post match reflections, I always thought Warbs was pretty candid but Beale makes his interviews seem really generic by comparison.

He was dammed if he did and dammed if he didn't with yesterday's team selection.

We just need to keep broadly heading in the right direction which I think we are. A team looking at somewhere between mid-table and top 6 is always going to lose a fair few games on the way.

I think we have the abilities to challenge for a top six place, so I broadly agree with you Frome. I thought MB handled the responsibility well - he’s new to management of a squad and team as the head honcho and that fine line of keeping a winning team and freshening things up is often a no-win scenario. He will gain his ‘spurs’ with experience. It’s all about bringing the players along with you when making those changes - and hoping the fans understand it’s not just making changes for the sake of it (I was going to say not fiddling with the team but it sounded weird :emoticon-0108-speec ).
Happy to win two lose the odd one.
