Swansea City vs Watford Premier League Mon, 18 Jan, 20:00 Liberty Stadium On Monday evening, just 5 days after Swansea's "6 pointer" at home to Sunderland, Watford are the visitors to the Liberty Stadium for Sky's live televised match. In the reverse fixture at Vicarage Road in September, Swansea suffered their first PL defeat of the season, whilst Watford gained their first victory since returning to the PL. http://www.skysports.com/football/watford-vs-swansea/341234 That result was a good indicator of what was to follow for both teams since that earlier clash - Watford have performed well above expectations, whilst the Swans have fallen towards (& been in) the relegation zone.
The best way to prepare for this game is a win against Sunderland. A win against Sunderland means we will get something from this game in my opinion. The Sunderland game is a 7.5 point game if we win and and could be 0 points from both games if we lose , sting or get stung .
I am missing this one as off to France skiing, hope I can get a good wifi connection at least I can sit in a bar and watch it
I thought global warming put paid to snow. What a crock. Have a great time, TLF. Yes, I agree with Roof on this. A good win tonight could spur us on to victory v Watford but they're a tough outfit. I'm reserving my predictions until after tonight. I always get it wrong anyway.
Biggest game of the year and lefty's going skiing ...may the fleas of a thousand camels infest your armpits ....hehe oops , thought you were missing today's game ....have fun .
Took a crap skiing once , half way down the hill in the trees ....I was desperate .. When I got to bottom of the hill , to my horror , I noticed I sh:t on one of my skis ....
After last night's result, we could find ourselves in the bottom 3 come kick-off time on Monday. In many ways, the defeat at Watford on 12 September marked the start of our collapse following a decent return of 8 points from the first 4 matches. Hopefully, a victory on Monday will mark the start of our resurgence and move away from the relegation zone.
Well I said I'd reserve my judgment until after the Sunderland game and despite the undeserved loss I'm going for a home win 2-0. Our players showed passion, commitment and a desire to get goals. We were creative and there were some really good performances on display. The game was ruined by the officials and you can't blame anyone at SCFC for that. I'm usually a pessimist but I'm encouraged by that performance and so should you. One question - will Naughton's red card be overturned by then?
Have a great time Trunds, I've only ever been to the mountain regions of Austria and Switzerland, Seefeld, Soll, in the Tirol etc.............
