Swansea City v. Liverpool Premier League Sunday, 1 May 2016 Kick off 12:00 Liberty Stadium Following a second successive abysmal away performance which saw the Swans thumped 0-4 by Champions-elect Leicester City, Swansea return to the Liberty Stadium for the visit of Liverpool. Last time out in the PL, Liverpool were held to a 2-2 draw by relegation threatened Newcastle, who fought determinedly for a point after going 2 goals down in the first half - if only the Swans could play with such fight & spirit....... In the corresponding fixture last Swansea dominated the first half but, thanks to Simon Mignolet's fine saves from Bafetimbi Gomis and Gylfi Sigurdsson, it was goalless at the interval. However, Liverpool were vastly improved after the restart and scored a fortuitous winner when Jordi Amat's clearance deflected off Jordan Henderson and into the net. On paper - and on current form - Liverpool should run out comfortable winners. However, as they have a Europa League game on the Thursday before the game, there is the possibility that Jurgen Klopp will make wholesale changes, as he did in the recent match with Bournemouth. On that basis, I think that the Swans may be able to scrape a 1-1 draw. If Klopp makes only a few changes, then I expect Liverpool to win 1-3.
The way things are going it looks like we have to hope 40 points is enough because I can't see us getting another one. 0-3 for me.
Just give them the points now, save us putting up with watching that 5hite again. Bunch of yellow bellied prima donnas.
Surely there's a win from one of the last 3 games? We haven't hit my 43 points yet, the buggers had better pull their collective fingers out............
I'm not so sure. I've posted elsewhere that looking at our run-in I can't see where another point will come from.
We`ll either win 1-0 or get thumped 4 or 5-0. Now I think it might be the latter, even if klippety puts out a weakened team. He`s got nothing to fear with us at the moment. Let`s hope the team go to church early in the morning, martin morgan to buy the first round, followed by the rest of the shysters. After all, they might play better pissed, although I doubt it.
(This is the first time I`ve done a "what team should we play"). Be kind. FABIANSKI (Although I`d be prepared to give NORDFELLT a go) NAUGHTON - ASH - AMAT - KINGSLEY GORRE - CORK BARROW - SIGGY - MONTERO PALOSCHI
You might have something with that lineup swanee. Does Gorre normally play that deep though? At least the players will know their places are on the line. Sadly, timid old Guidolin won't do it.
We will get well beaten yet again, with Guidolin picking the same or a very similar side to the last few. I am sure Gorre doesn't play that deep. I am sure he is an attacking midfielder or even a wide player. I doubt he will even be In the squad.
I've spoken out against experimenting until we're mathematically safe but if ANY manager doesn't drop half the team after that performance then he really doesn't know what he's doing.
He is .I'm off to watch the U21's shortly so it'll be interesting to see if the manager has another look over the side , maybe like me he just wants to fill his head with happy thoughts after yesterdays embarrassing shambles
Liverpool have improved a lot under Klipperty Klopp and will win with room to spare and another 4-0 thumping ....

We wont go down now so i don't give a toss if we win, lose or draw.....the season is over as far as im concerned.
