Am hopeful for this game, Swansea are a decent side and they like to play good football, which suits us I think.
As they will be at home they will come out to attack, dont think its in their nature to park the bus.
So there should be spaces at the back for our boys to play in.

We need to find some form again after a few stutter steps in the last month or so, get back some of our early season kick ass form.

There will be goals, like in our 4-2 win at SB earlier this season.

My Prediction: 1-3 Chelsea (Costa, Hazard, Ivanovic)

Be interesting to see how they cope now Bony has gone. Good time to play them I feel and with City playing Arsenal, hopefully a chance to widen the gap.

After having a week off, I trust the boys will dig out something special tomorrow! It's not often they have a midweek without a match.

A midweek without a game is like my Nanna Nap, I wake refreshed, rested and ready ! Lets hope the rest has the same effect on our team, they have looked a bit knackered lately. Good opposition and a good time to rediscover early season form, City are looking a bit wobbly too, so lets put some space between them and us.

Us getting 3pts will automatically put pressure on City and they will drop more.
Team should focus on our game rather than look over the shoulder.

4-0 at half time, could say it's been a good half! Apparently we're bottling it too....

I know we were poor but that was a truly awesome first half performance and you should have gone in at half time 7-8 goals up <ok>

Not watching but looks like we're back to normal.

no pressure on us at all at this time, all we need is for city to drop points soon and our match at the end of the month wont mean anything.

  9. You boys were in Wonderland, today! Fantastic performance! If you can bottle that kind of performance and opening it for every match, you'll walk the title.

After that first half today that universal question will raise its head, 'Where were you when Chelsea destroyed Swansea at the Liberty?' absolutely the best 45 minute shift put in by any team on the planet this year. Absolutely mesmerising!!:emoticon-0110-tongu:1980_boogie_down::emoticon-0165-muscl

As for Hiag hoping the Gooners will get royally humped by City at Eastlands is unlikely and I expect them to get something off City. With Walnut back and Sanchez scoring for fun I can see a probable draw if not an Arsenal win.

Well done boys (and maybe some girls? <diva>) great performance today helped by some late Xmas prezzies from us to you. I tipped Chelsea for the title at the start of the season and haven't changed my mind.

  14. Ozzie, Arsenal never do well against the top teams; they always bottle it. 4-0 is my guess.

That was the biggest mauling the Swans have had at the Liberty since arriving in the Premiership and credit goes to Chelsea for an outstanding performance. It will be interesting to see how far you go in Europe, because I don't think there's too many better European teams out there.

  16. True. £ity, maybe; and PSG, Bayern, Real, Barca, but that's about it.

    City maybe,
    PSG no chance
    Bayern Yes
    Real Yes
    Barca no chance

Though any of those teams could maul us on their day, and vice versa.

As we are unlikely to catch either City or yourselves, I'll be hoping for a City win. Would be a great laugh to see the team expected to finish 4th fail to get a CL spot or even a Europa League one should certain things conspire against them.

Blimey, whatever Jose gave the team ,I'd like some. How do you turn around a misfiring ,flat and weary looking team in one week ??? If that's what a weeks rest does for you, I'm off to bed.

Chelsea play like that for 90 mins against these teams and I think they have the beating of them all, except for perhaps RM because of their obvious fire power.
