The £15 million profit doesn't include the Allen transfer.
You contributed £5 million to last year's profit and have funded all of this year's transfer activity with the Allen move.
Expect even bigger profits from us next year :)

That was money well spent imo. Allen is worth more than £15m in todays market.

    That's fairly obvious.

  8. Are we saying we didn't get value for money...? Rodgers and his team have only been in post a few months and £5m (a third of the 'profit') isn't exactly earth shattering what it comes to getting a manager and two coaches from another club <doh>

My point is, Swansea made a profit, well done to them. Other than that, I couldn't give a **** about that particular club (no offence intended) <ok>

    £5million is a bargain.

We payed £7million just to get rid of Roy Hodgson.

    Brenden Rodgers is doing fine.

£5m for Brendan, Davies, Pascoe, and one other I always bloody forget and now a fitness dude too isn't bad for £5m, and so far (I know its very very early days) it seems to be well spent. I don't know of any non-Sky Gen fan (you know the type I mean - you mainly find them on Twitter or in the comments section below blog/paper articles) who isn't happy with what the new Manger/Coaching team has done so far. Shame it falls apart when you move up the chain above them, because from above Brendan up to Boston its an utter shambles.

I wonder how much we paid Fulham for Woy?

Also, already I'd be happy to pay £20m for Allen. he just doesn't lose the ball and starts everything good that we do. Not anywhere near Alonso level yet though, but I think once Lucas is back in the team he'll go up another level again. He'll be word class by the time he's 26-27.

I'd like to know one thing.

if swansea managed to scrape in 14mi in profit what the hell did they do with the rest of the vastly increased revenue they got? I eman it has to be said that either they were making a big loss in the championship or they bascially shvelled mone yout last least. theres baout 30mil unaccounted for so can any swans tell us what precisely you did with that?

seeing swansea picked up laudrup from nowhere, ie no club wanted him i wonder how long it will be before they spend that 5mil paying him off?

oh and if they think that they stay in profit while wages, and trafer fees go up to this established prem clu bthey've another think coming. keep cycling the players swans... you'll make more money and progress that way than making people fat and happy. (like joe cole for instance)
