Would be a good deal for us if we can get a fee for Scotland. Since Ellington has been signed I don't really think that Scotland has much of a future with us and we can deploy the money in better ways. Maybe while they're at it we can do a job lot and include that waster Prickskin! £2 Million the pair!

I would say if we can push them to anywhere between £750k and £1m, he can disappear into the sunset. He did a good job for us, but he's just too lazy and is still overweight!

    Swansea of the Premiership??

Crazy move on their part. But yes definitely worth selling 500k or there abouts is probably fair, anything more is a bonus.

Take whatever is offered, if anything, though I really can't understand why Swansea would want him now.

Seems strange us selling our top scorer (10) of last season, but in truth it really shows how utterly gash we were up front.

Take 250k, good luck Jason :)

Lets keep him and re-sign Lisbie and play them both upfront with Ellington

It would be watching the 3 degrees of WBA of yesteryear!

Could you guys really sell Jason Scotland to Swansea knowing it improves our survival chances every game you play him?

I think everyone's missed a trick here. Scotland is capable of scoring goals. Chops is the main goal threat but with a buzz about the strikers we may see them all hit form when they get their chance. Confidence was the main problem. We're not going to get much of a transfer fee and we want that competition for places.

Sort of agree with you Hamps. I still feel Scotland could score a few goals next season. He netted 10 last year and was petty dire so with a better strike partner and service (We've been saying that for about 6 years now) he could do the business. Infront of goal he seems more composed than Priskin but I would prefer we kept Tamas as I fear he will come good if he was leave. If we sign another striker (which looks likely) Five first team strikers is too many especially as Ronan Murray looks half decent. I can't see Scotland being with us come August.

10 goals in a side struggling to score isn't that bad a ratio! He probably the one player we had last year that if a chance fell to him that i would feel confident in him scoring. plus we need to be more creative and play to his strengths, we know he isn't going to beat a man for pace but in and around the 18 yard box he will get in the positions and he will score!

Doesn't look like it will be with us though.

Ellington is a direct replacement. Chopra is our penalty box king. Stick Priskin out wide if need be, he's creative but **** in front of goal. We've got a good compliment, just need that big Shefki type bruiser...

Ched Evans methinks....... Nicky Maynard dreams <laugh> Rob Hulse er NO!

Or Scotland WON'T be moving on.........

Could he be the perfect foil for Chops? Is Jewell's recent praise genuine, or an attempt to push up/hold the value for possible transfer?

Fun and games or we can't shift him, answers on a postcard pop pickers???
