Given careful consideration .....we should knock back the first offer ,take it to nearer 2m then accept! I hope Bondy not been having too many sherbets on holiday! Maybe time for Rene to step up!

I quite like Loach, he makes mistakes but his reactions are fantastic, he is still young we need to get off his back!

I agree gb93 that his reactions are great. First class. But if I owned the club and two mil comes on the table, my reactions would be quicker .

Haha good point Blisset, Gilmartin could step up anyway I would like to see Dyche given a little bit to spend especially if there are any more sales out of the club

£2m ? Maybe a while back on the hope that he would be good, but last season he stood still at best. <yikes>

Bite their hands off Mr.B. ;)

If 1.5-2m was on the table i would take it, although i do like Loach. However if this is the case then i'd fully expect that 1.5-2million to be reinvested in experienced players.

I agree ftw re the bid, but I wouldn't expect it to be reinvested. I don't think we'll see a lot of investment coming up. Dyche is cheap, any acquisitions will be cheap/free/low waged.

Hmm, if he got the chance, i think he'd snap at it...he gets too much abuse to be comfortable from Watford fans...especially on Twitter..

I think watford fans have let themselves down by being so harsh to what is a young goalkeeper still, possibly the best reactions in the league, take away mistakes he is a world class keeper

Sorry to be a bit slow, Hornette, I'm not really up to speed with Twitter etc. Are you saying that Loach gets coated by Watford fans on twitter?

i think he still has things to learn, but i'd be sorry to see him go...from what i've seen (and pre season will probably give us more clue) i wouldn't feel safe with Gilmartin

yeah Blissett watford fans on twitter make it very clear to loach what they feel about him on twitter. . . especially after a mistake in a game, doubt there real fans though because every one that goes every week knows that loach is a good keeper

Yep, he often 'retweets' the insults that get posted to him on an almost daily basis. It's shocking that supposed Watford fans can be so immature and pathetic. I feel for him, but he's very good at brushing it off, and naming and shaming. As gb1993 says, they are probably not true Watford fans, i'd like to think not, anyway.

Getting on players backs is horrible, i've never booed the team off, well thats a lie once when we were 3 0 down at half time to qpr about 4 seasons ago, but I dont mind booing the team, but when it's a single player there is no way it is going to improve there performace, especially when they are so young, I thought the treatment we gave Drinkwater was a disgrace how is he going to improve when every time he touches the ball the crowd moaned

i fully agree with you gb. i've never boo'd player or team, nor have i left a match early. I hate when people moan about individual players, i remember some of the worst abuse Jordan Stewart used to get...it couldn't have helped at all! i think the key word...is 'support'!
