I hope all you ****s appreciate all my hard work, instead of going to sleep and I had to stay up an extra 30 mins making this.
We could play Rosicky out wide on the left, and put Wilshere on the right, with the middle 3 of Ramsey-Flamini-Ozil. Would possibly start Akpom on the right too, looked good today. But with the midfield you mention, it would give us a lot of solidity.
And yes, the midfield I picked really is very solid and I would be confident of keeping a clean sheet. So maybe we can sit back, and just wait for a counter or even nick one on a set piece.
Well if Ross is still out, I'd put Akpom in contention, liked what I saw from him. Our midfield is looking solid, but lacking creativity at the moment, and that could hurt us, especially against a team like Napoli with Benitez in charge of them. If we're going to want to progress from our group, we need to be winning all our home games. All I can say is thank **** for Ozil, that man is like 3 creative midfielders in one, so he can conjure up some magic.
I am extremely disappointed that there's no longer a long, detailed and interesting pre match write up I of course used to read every word ...... twice.
Kosc along with Arteta/Flamini (whichever plays) need to make sure they keep Michu quiet as he looked good in there last game and he is capable of getting goals. I'm confident we can continue our run and get a result here. With Ozil in the team i'm confident we will get chances and with the form of Giroud and Ramsey i think we have goals in us. A win here would make it 12 away wins in a row, 9 wins in a row, 5 premier league wins in a row. Confidence is high and the team available looks solid enough.
We need to defend first, well in this game. We'll see less of the ball than usual in this game, so we need to make sure we work hard when we don't have it, and use it wisely when we do. Fortunately, we've looked more comfortable in recent games, sitting behind the ball and allowing the opposition to pass themselves to death; that strategy could be useful here given our away form and our opponents' style of play.
Well done! It's going to be a tough evening for both teams. Arsenal, full of confidence and on a good run, while the Swans are playing well and will be looking for their first home PL match win. Two good footballing sides - unfortunately they sometimes cancel each other and the game is not as attractive as it promises to be. Swans to make home advantage pay with a tough 2-1 victory
Great thread Super, better than the ones we get put on our board. Going to be a real tough game, my head says a draw but I'm putting on my black and white glasses and say 2-1 Swans.
I see an open game full od end to end attacking footy. Swansea will put up a hell of a fight but I think we'll nick it near the end
I think we're going to smash them. I hope Swansea come out and attack us. I feel an open game will suit us. The squad is confident and we are defending well. Shame there's no Carzorla and Walcott mind you.
Ramsey is the top midfield tackler in the league alongside Lucas, so I'd be a little disappointed to see him moved upfield. I'd rather see Gnabry in there again - he looked good on his debut.
Agreed, i don't want to see Ramsey play as a winger. He's been one of the best players in the Prem playing in the centre, so keep him in his best position. Use more appropriate players in that position, Gnarbry being one of them. I rather see Jenks play as wide right than Ramsey there.
