    Competition - FA Cup
    Stage - Fourth round replay
    Date - Tuesday, 6 February 2018
    Kick Off - 19.45
    Venue - Liberty Stadium

Following two consecutive home victories against first Liverpool, and then Arsenal, backed up by a creditable 1-1 draw away at Leicester, next up for Carlos Carvalhal's Swansea team is the home replay in the Fourth around of the FA Cup against Notts County.

With the Swans facing Burnley at home in the PL just four days later - a much more important fixture in the greater scheme of things - it is likely that the Swans will again make wholesale changes from the team that defeated Arsenal and drew with Leicester.

The Swans and Notts County have met on 71 occasions, with the Swans winning 30, Notts County 24 and 17 draws.

The last time the two sides met in Swansea was in December 2004 when, at the Vetch Field in a League Two fixture in front of 6,609 spectators, the Swans won 4-0, thanks to goals from:

Looking ahead to Tuesday evening, I think the Swans will win 2-0 to secure an away Fifth Round tie against Sheffield Wednesday. I'm sure Carlos will be looking forward to that.....

Given our injuries (I'm assuming Fer, A Ayew, Renato & Bony will be unavailable)

    Nordefeldt
    Rangel MvdH Bartley Pajik
    Lewis Leon Clucas Routledge
    Abraham Gore

Mulder, Roberts, Olsson, Mawson, Dyer, Ayew, Ki,

I know that the Burnley game is very important, but we have a serious chance of going a long way in the FA Cup this season.
We should in reality beat Notts County and also Sheffield Wednesday - that would see us into the Quarter Finals.
I don't want us to dismiss this chance.
A win would keep our incredible run going since Carlos took over.

Fully agree Stereo. Best way to keep the momentum is to keep winning.

It also gives those not playing regularly some minutes under their belts etc.

Surely beating Notts County would only prove to be a vehicle for putting more money in the hands of the Yanks? <whistle>

Can still beat Notts County and stay away from the replays? <whistle>

I wouldn't include Olsson tbh. As our only LB, I'd rest him for the Burnley game.

Fer and Bony out for the rest if the season - seems that Wilf was a 'great' purchase for us this season......

That's seriously harsh on us for them to both be out for the rest of the season.
Can we still get loan players in ?

Possibly we could sign unattached players such as Nasri

We are starting to get short up front with only J Ayew and Tammy fit at the moment. I hope we don't rush Andre back because hamstring injuries can easily recur.. It's looking a mistake now to have sent O Mcburnie out on loan as well.

    No.
Unattached players only. A few worth a shout as back up but who knows how log it would take them to get match fit.
    Is Abraham fit?

Notts County got back on the winning trail with a 4-1 win this weekend. In front of a packed Liberty crowd of 4,321 we should be able to see them off after a spirited performance.

Any more injuries and we'll have no choice.

Going to be a strange old team tomorrow.

    Nordefeldt
    Roberts MvdH Bartley Pajik
    Narsingh Routledge Leon Gore
    King
    Abraham

Mulder, Rangel, Olsson, Mawson, Dyer, Ayew, Clucas

They know we're having an injury crises so I hope they don't try to kick us off the park.

Have a feeling WHU & Huddersfield will do that.
Even if they don't get points off us they know a couple of injuries could scupper the rest of our season.

    Injuries - outfield players
Bony & Far we know are long term but so is Sanches (4 - 5 weeks)
    now Leon and Rangel.
No new info on Ayew's injury or Tammy's recovery

That gives us 6 fit defenders to play a back 5
    8 midfielder to play 3 or 4
    1 fit forward

We have to go to the under 23s to fill the bench!

    Any news on Leon?
As club captain he's been vey quiet of late.
