    Stage - Round of 16
    Date - Tuesday, 24 October 2017
    Kick off - 19:45
    Venue - Liberty Stadium

    Following Saturday's disappointing defeat at home to Leicester City, Swansea next face Manchester United at home in the last 16 of the League Cup.

    United travel to Swansea on the back of a highly surprising 1-2 defeat to Huddersfield - a result that leaves Mourinho's men in 2nd place in the League but now 5pts behind rival Man City.

    The teams last met on 19 August at the Liberty when United ran out comfortable 0-4 winners.

    In total, the teams have met on 30 previous occasions, with Swansea winning 10, United 14 and 6 draws.

    Both teams are likely to ring the changes for this Cup match - hopefully, we will see Mesa back in Swansea colours otherwise something is not right and the rumours swirling around nay "have legs". Whatever the selection, I can't see anything other than a United victory: 1-3 to the Red Devils.

    Am I going to spend more than two hours on the road, spend money on parking & at the ground to attend?
    My only hope is all the players who have been left in the cold by Clement play and show him up for the limited talent he turns out to be.

    We are never going to win this with the shower we have this season, and clueless Clementine and his clueless formation and tactics, who will lose their manager first, us or Everton? both teams are crap...........<laugh>

    Their goal difference is 11 after today's thumping, should help us a tad, especially with our back line, we need all the help we can get!!...........<laugh>

    They are doing a good job of mugging off the Jack Army, no way am I paying £40 for a ticket for the league Cup, this will be the first time in decades that I will not attend to support my team, the Yanks can go and whistle........ <ok>
