    Kick off - 19.45

    Following their disappointing draw at home to relegation threatened Barnsley, next up for Steve Cooper’s stuttering Swans is a home match against Charlton Athletic.

    Against Barnsley, the Swans overall created the clearer opportunities, but their failure to find a finish means they have won only two of their last 10 home league games - and taken only 22 points from the last 19 League matches.

    Barnsley had their moments too and were worth a share of the spoils at the end of a hard-fought contest.

    The first goalless game at the Liberty Stadium this season is a better result for Gerhard Struber's team, whose revival at the bottom continues, while Swansea remain on the fringes of the play-off places.

    Barnsley arrived in West Wales in their best form of the season, with Struber having a significant impact since taking charge in November.

    The day after the Swans drew with the Tykes, Charlton were playing Derby in the final English League Professional match of the decade.

    The Swans have played Charlton on 45 occasions - winning 17, losing 17 and drawing 11.

    In the reverse fixture in October at the Valley, the Swans ran out 2-1 winners thanks to goals from Dhanda and Ayew:



    Turning to Thursday evening, I see nothing other than a disappointing 1-1 draw. <cheers>

    Derby 2 Charlton 1 tonight. Derby when leading 1-0. have man sent off in 17th min.. Went 2up while playing with only 10 men. ...... Charlton scored with penalty near the end.. Bet they will playa lot better against us on Thursday. ........ hope I am bloody wrong.
