Swansea Cityâs next opponents will be the mighty Arsenal Football Club. Named after their famous manager Mr Arsene Wenger, who despite his name implying otherwise, has a petit derriere. Mr Wenger has guided âThe Arseâ to 11 trophies, comprising 3 Premier League titles, 4 FA Cups and 4 Community Shields. Unfortunately Mr Wengerâs last trophy came in the 2004-05 Season. This barren spell has led some Arsenal supporters to label the great man âInspector Clouseauâ after the infamous French detective, made infamous by The Pink Panther series. Now this is a bit of a coincidence because I met one of our mods at a recent game. I wonât name neveroffsideref, but he mentioned that he had a Pink Panther in his pants and he asked me if I wanted to stroke him. Iâm not a great fan of Panthers so I declined, but fair play to never he bought me a pint. On to this Saturdays game, apparently Young Theo Walcott, who is still only 15 years of age will miss the occasion due to an operation on his abdomen. He played a key role in Arsenals 2-0 victory at the Liberty last season and he will be sorely missed. In fact young Theo will be sore himself. A really hard call to make on this game. I think the best I can say ,is that its gonna be a bumpy ride for 90 mins with the result going either way with any score line you can think of !! arsenal have the ability to stuff us big time,we have the ability to murder them on the counter and take on their defenders one v one it could be an amazing game to watch for the neutral . Id be thrilled with a point from this one , Arsenal are looking very good this season
I prefer Dills threads, at least he knows what colours teams play in. 3-1 to the Swans, you heard it here first
I'm going for a win. ML will give them plenty of shooting practice and we'll start converting our chances.
Stoke passed the ball in and around arsenal with ease at the weekend so I expect us to be able to do the same. Going for a close 2-1 victory to the Swans.
Always close games so hard to call , we were brought back to earth last night which possibly was deserved so I think it's back to drawing board for both the manager and squad for this game .Walcott is out but Ozil is quality & if he and Corzola start to click then it could be a long afternoon for us .so it's a 3-1 win to us
I am allways going for a win. I think our defense is strong enough to get a clean sheet. Swansea vs Arsenal: 2-0
Looking forward to this game, think it will be 2-1 score line in our favour, we always play well against Arsenal!..............
My heart says a Swans' win. My head tells me that Arsenal are a very good side and will certainly start as favourites. If we get a draw I'll be happy but I'm going with my heart this time and say 3-1 Swans.
