This was a really great watch if you didn't manage to watch it: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01skh66/Swansea_City_The_Fall_and_Rise/ Really inspiring stuff and what football is about. The tension in that match where they were nearly relegated. A proper club who have built up through the leagues, gradually evolving but keeping to their principles and playing great football. Think their philosophy has helped them noend in being a success in the PL, great work by Martinez. After the past few seasons it really made me envious of them. Have made some cracking signings this season aswell, look like they may well push on. Amazing aswell to see Leon Brittain playing for them tonight in the Uefa cup after 10 years with the club when he played in the game which nearly saw them relegated to the conference.
I totally agree, they definitely are an inspiration to a lot of lower end teams - doing it the proper way. Shame they're Welsh and they shouldn't be in our league tho
Watched them on TV last night aswell, dependant on how they cope with Europe I can see them really pushing on in the top half next season, they looked quality last night!!
