So in the last 12 months we've spent 13 million on 2 strikers, both of whom were deemed unsuitable for our style of play,we've now sold them for 9 million,we've also got a donkey left on our books, who used to be a striker but now costs us about 3 million a year to make sure that all assistant referees are compitent in the offside rule,so that's 16 million, now the wages for these 3 would top the 100k pw mark...now we can't afford the 15 m buy back of bony,or his 90k wages, because it's too much of a gamble!.....I wish our board would set the odds at my bookies,I might get odds of 100 to 1 on Manchester City not getting relegated!!

So 14m for an injury prone midfielder and we wont pay 16 m for a top class striker as it is to much of a risk. This is going to be a long season, we are a joke in the transfer market at the moment. I wonder who is calling this now the yanks or HJ,

For me there's three top class players available and we should go all out for them.

Bony, Joe and Townsend will imo guarantee a top 10 finish next season because of their quality. Instead, we are being link with cheap players that nobody seems to have heard of.

Eder goes to Lille and becomes their 2nd highest scorer in a handful of games .
Who knows but I bet Paloschi has good success at Atalanta , after not wanting to stay with us .
After Bony left , and it appears he doesn't want to come back , Gomis went on a scoring terror till the window closed the next August , when Gomis knew he wasn't leaving , and has closed up shop on scoring since.
Maybe it isn't the strikers ......

Did he tell you this personally? For him to leave, we deemed him surplus to requirement. We sold him, he didn't run away.

If it isn't the strikers, then what is it?

It was OBVIOUS from Guidolin remarks previous that he wanted Palschi to stay , try putting 2+2 together or take some math night classes ya bellend ...

What were his remarks then roof and would that be the Guidolin who left him on the bench when he was fit and played a winger up front instead of him and that winger scored more goals in the 3 games he played there than paloschi did in 7.

What remarks then roof? He'd just signed a contract with us and Guido he would have stayed had Guido wanted him. He's gone, because he's not good enough for the PL as a main striker.

He signed in January and got sold in June. It's obvious the club has cut their losses on him.

A wasted £8 million for 2 goals in the end.

tTwo goals from seven starts trying to get use to the place , and Paloschi was injured at the end
Guidolin said from day one till after the season Paloschi will bring Swansea a lot of goals in the future . Does that sound like a manager who wanted him to go .
Paloschi wanted out IMO , don't blame him either .
Maybe we will hear something " Official " from the club about the reasoning ......lol .
Like maybe we will hear something from the club about the " Official " statement the club promised after the one line response about us being " right " about the Vorm deal when the club were mad about the Dutch club saying something in the press . Wonder how much it cost us for the Dutch club to say nothing . Still waiting for the club's promise about an " Official " statement but won't hold my breath .

The club can't say anything because the COURTS have told them to remain silent for now. What part of that do you not understand?

What reason is there for Palo leaving that you are speculating at here, other than he wasn't good enough for us?

The club also said they will give an official statement .....we waited 6 months for a " One Liner " statement when something was promised in a month .
Can't wait for that " Official " club statement on Vorm to come out , if it ever does .
If it doesn't , the club payed money to hush the Dutch club ...IMO
