Here is the not606'ers man of the match vote for West Brom at home, it was our first win in the premier league, and our first 3 goals also, we had a a great game, and it is a fitting game to honour the 4 miners killed and the little child in ponty, also as Brendan's dad also passing away, I think we needed something to bring a smile to our faces. May they all Rest In Peace. The results of the last game against Arsenal is below: Cauker - 13 Votes 39.39% http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/85190-Swansea-City-player-of-the-Week-Arsenal-(A) I have blogged all the Man of the match articles below http://www.not606.com/entry.php/448-Best-Player-Votes
If anyone doesn't vote for Leon after such an amazing performance - floating around, protecting the defence, excellent intelligence and technique - then you're just wrong Honestly I thought Vorm was amazing, Lita impressed, and Allen shone - but Leon was head and shoulders (well, you know what I mean) above the rest!
Have to say there were some outstanding performances, our midfield stopped West Brom from playing Leon just pipping Allen.
Mark Gower for me. His passing added something to the midfield that we haven't had yet this season. Very close call between him and Leon though. Yet again, a majestic display, and like I've said before, he will be the lynchpin of our midfield this year
We cant score in 4 games and lack support/supply then Lita come in and scores one and sets up one therefore he gets my vote.
That is something I dislike about vBulletin to be honest, first the thread goes up, then you add the poll question and actual poll afterwards, typing out all the names takes a minute or two
Lita/Vorm/Lita/Vorm/Lita/Vorm - can't make my mind up................................... It's Lita, for giving us some impetus in the final third. Some fantastic saves from Vorm today though - especially from the free kick.
It was a tossup between Leon and Nathan, and Dyer edged it it my view with a cracking goal! New Britton would be the front runner on this one, before I voted!....................... please log in to view this image
yes lita gets my vote too with one goal and one assist, britton would be me second choice with monk 3rd.
Lots of candidates to be honest. Difficult to disagree with most of the names mentioned already. Can't vote for Vorm this time though when it was our attacking play that made the difference, as good as he was (another brilliant save yet again!). Lita for me. Can't dispute a well taken goal and setting up number three. Really put himself about and topped a fantastic display.
stickied this thread for a couple of days to make sure it doesn't end deadlock, if anyone would like to vote, it ends on the 27th
