    FA Cup 5th Round Replay
    Date - Tuesday, 27 February 2018
    Kick off - 20.05
    Venue - Liberty Stadium

Following their scoreless draw at Hillsborough, the Swans and the Owls try again to settle their 5th Round tie, with the winners likely to face Spurs at home in the Quarter Finals.

Carlos Carvalhal will be expected to rotate his squad, keeping his first choice XI back for the relegation 6-pointer against West Ham the following Saturday, especially after the previous Saturday's 6-pointer away at Brighton.

Assuming that Carlos picks a relatively strong side, then I think the Swans will win 2-1.

The match is live on TV.

Should have played second string and under 23s or full strength squad.A week to recover now turns into a few days.

I hate saying this, but I dont really care what the score is, as long as there are no injuries and no red cards for any of our senior players.

We are only 3 games plus a replay from an F.A. Cup final and Carlos has a difficult choice to make when selecting players for the owls replay....Does he select our strongest side or my choice a mixture that being at home should win.....Carlos is right that the premiership must be our priority but i cant stop thinking how close we are to adding the F.A. Cup to our trophy cabinet.....Difficult one...

And I'd sacrifice all 4 games for 12 points in the league.

If someone offered me 3 points against brighton or a win against SW, I would take the 3 points every time, prefer both though. Just don't want to be one of those teams who wins the cup and goes down in the same season.

I agree but wouldn't be nice to talk about winning the FA cup in our lifetime , unlike some <whistle>

It would give the Laudrup detractors something else to attack him with.

I agree especially after the soaking at Villa Park all those years ago. It would "perhaps" stop BBC Cardiff showing the black and white film of Arsenal's Welsh goalkeeper throwing the ball into his own goal to give Cardiff the chance to win the cup "the only time it's left England." Incidentally much preferred the semi finals at neutral ground making the final at Wembley a truly special occasion.

Just bought my ticket, hope we put on a performance like the last replay. Anywhere near that then quarter final it is. We can’t underestimate Wednesday however & I’m sure that won’t be how it pans out. Love us to go all the way, we might never have a better chance...

Also, them up the road won’t then keep ‘parading’ 1927, as if it’s something they feel they can keep battering us with.

    Sad cvnts...

We will have the home advantage, and we need to to use it to finish Sheffield off, while they are a well organised side, there isn't much of a threat up front, we really need to be more clinical in breaking them down, they will without doubt park the bus.

I'm confident of a win with Carlos in charge, what a great charector this man is, hope we hold on to him and build the squad for next year.

Depending on the team we put out we may have to park the bus also..<laugh> and it will be the most boring game ever in front of our lowest attendance of the season which is understandable... Penalty shootout maybe....

If SW put their feet into the tackle we could fade out of this one with the prospect of Hammers and Huddersfield coming up. I'd prefer to see none of our senior players in this game but I don't think our squad can stretch to that.

    Probable starters will include:

    Nordfelt,
    Roberts, Bartley, VDH, ???
    Routledge, King, Carroll, ???, Dyer
    Abraham.

    A. Ayew might get 30 mins just to keep his legs going, he'll share the bench with Mulder, Clucas, Narsingh and....who knows?. Maybe Britton's fit enough for a 20 minute cameo.

Hope not to see Olsson, Mawson, Ki or JAyew laced up tonight.

Play the first choice team in second gear ... good warm up for Saturday. They looked stale last weekend after not paying the previous Saturday.

I thought King and AAyew were cup tied again, that’s why I was surprised when King was not involved last Saturday. Anyway I wouldn’t like to predict who he’ll pick for tonight after the Brighton debacle. Underestimate SWed by putting out a weakened team and we could get bitten. It’s got to be three centre backs for me with Bartley one of them.
