Swansea City v Norwich City Competition - Sky Bet Championship Date - 24 November 2018 Kick off - 3pm Venue - The Liberty Stadium Following their deserved away victory at Bolton, next up for Graham Potter’s team is a home fixture against Championship leaders Norwich City who have won each of their last 5 League matches. Against Bolton, a stunning Barrie McKay strike gave the Swans victory and condemned Bolton to their fourth consecutive Championship defeat. The Scotland international's 25-yard effort, his first goal for the Swans since joining from Nottingham Forest in the summer, was the highlight of the first half, although Bolton forward Sammy Ameobi saw a similarly powerful attempt hit the bar. Ameobi's return after two months out with ankle ligament damage had been a boost for Phil Parkinson's men, and the 26-year-old shot just wide shortly after the break too. But it was not enough and Bolton, now without a league win in seven games, dropped into the relegation zone while Swansea moved up a place to eighth. It also became the first time in Wanderers' 144-year history that they have lost four consecutive home games without scoring. Whilst the Swans were beating Bolton, Norwich was involved in a real humdinger against Millwall. Norwich City boss Daniel Farke said his side "proved they had special spirit" after a 97th-minute goal from Teemu Pukki saw them fight back from 3-2 down to beat Millwall and go top of the Championship. Tom Elliott headed the Lions in front in the 24th minute before Pukki fired in an equaliser after the break. Pukki then had a spot-kick saved before Mortiz Leitner scored for the Canaries from 22 yards but Ryan Leonard's shot made it 2-2. Jed Wallace fired Millwall back in front before Jordan Rhodes and Pukki struck in a dramatic period of injury time. As such, Norwich will visit the Liberty full of confidence. The Swans and Norwich have met on 54 occasions, with the Swans winning 23, Norwich 21 and 10 draws. The last time the two teams met at the Liberty in a Championship match was in April 2011 when the Swans ran out 3-0 winners thanks to goals from Borini, Gower & Priskin. Both teams were promoted that season to the PL. Turning to Saturday, given that the Swans seem to raise their game against the Championship’s better teams, I’m going for a 2-1 home victory
I'm feeling optimistic, so a Swans win. The score? Anybody's guess... oh wait, that's what we're all doing .... 3 - 1. Get in!
