Swansea : Can we swap our Walcott and Arshavin for your Dyer and Sinclair, please?

I think it's more the case that our lot make average teams/players look good. Those same players are less effective 90% of teh time, hence their club positions (dare I say relative to ours).

So in answer, I think we need to look at marquee signings, not journeymen who had their chnace at big clubs and couldn't cut it.

To be honest TenG you cant really call either of those players journeymen because both of them have only been owned by a couple of clubs but obviously loaned out to a few more to get some experience and Sinclair is still only 22 and in my honest opinion was let go too soon by Chelsea because we could do with his pace now and the 1.5 mill we got for him is nothing to what we will have to spend on someone else.As for Arsenal needing as you say marquee signings thats not always the answer as the purchase of Arshavin proves. If I were a gooner the thing that would be giving me sleepless nights would be losing RVP in the summer cos without him at the moment you wouldnt be in 5th place and he needs to see some ambition to match his own.For me as a Chelsea fan I cannot bear the thought of finishing behind the spuds,I can except Arsenal and even Liverpool but not those yids,so come on Gunners you deserve to be top four.....those ****s dont.

KK-Dixon. FAir point about these two. It does annoy me though Arsenal bring out the best in every other team/player in the league, or so it seems. Spurs may finish above the both of us this season, but I don't think they will be consistent Champuions Leaguse regulars like our respective clubs have been over the last decade.

Somehow, sooner or later Spurs will lose Harry and they have an appalling record at hiring/firing managers. Burkinshaw was sacked after they won the UEFA cup, 2 FA Cups, and competed in the league, Pleat got himself into trouble, and now Harry (who I actually like as I think he is good bloke and I think would be a good England manager) may have to go. Every other manager they've had has been a disaster, so unless their luck in picking manager changes they will probably fall back into the role of London's No 3/4 . Mind you, I'd love to see an all London top-4.

I actually think London is the football capital of the world - no other comparable city has so many top class football clubs and when you include the likes of West Ham and other lower league ones like Orient, Charlton, we can easily see that no one matches London's depth or passion for this great game.
