Swansea City assistant Colin Pascoe feels Rangers' star players are underperforming âBig name QPR players need to start performing for Hughesâ Tuesday, April 10, 2012 9:08 AM Swansea assistant Colin Pascoe says QPRâs stars need to start performing .. Swansea assistant manager Colin Pascoe thinks that it is about time the big-money signings at QPR started to produce the goods for manager Mark Hughes. Pascoe is a former team-mate of the Rangers chief and speaking ahead of Wednesday nightâs clash between the two sides at Loftus Road, the former Wales international was keen to remind the west Londoners that the pressure is firmly on them. âThey need to win, they are at home and have to take the initiative,â he said. âThey are looking to us as a chance to get three points, they have some big teams left to play and they will want to get at us and press us. They will be psyching themselves up as they want to stay in the Premier League. âThey have some big characters, big players on big money and they need to produce. âWhat they did in the Championship last year is gone. This is a different kettle of fish in the Premier League and those big players need to play for Mark Hughes.â
Hm, what sort of mind games is this wannabe trying to play? Either way, I hope we start performing against him and his team on Wednesday! Perhaps he is a closet Hoop?!
