    Barclays Premier League
    Date - Saturday, 4 November 2017
    Kick off - 15:00
    Venue - Liberty Stadium

Following the expected defeat to Arsenal at The Emirates, next up for the Swans is a home match against Chris Hughton's Brighton.

This is a match that the Swans simply must win - they have to beat their expected relegation rivals - although Brighton must be fancying their chances against a team that has lost 4 of its 5 home PL fixtures so far this season.

In their most recent PL, Brighton secured a 1-1 home draw against Southampton, with Glenn Murray earning his side a point with a deserved second-half equaliser: it was Murray's third goal in two games. The draw left Brighton in 12th in the table, with 12 points, 4 more than the Swans who sit in 17th place, outside the relegation zone on goal difference.

The Swans have played Brighton on 62 occasions, winning 26, losing 14 and drawing 22. Indeed, the Swans have won 4 of the last 5 matches, and have not lost against Brighton since December 2006.

The most recent fixture was in August 2009 when the Swans ran out 3-0 winners. Stephen Dobbie hit a brace as Swansea claimed a Carling Cup first-round win.

Alan Tate headed against the post from Andrea Orlandi's free-kick, skipper Garry Monk following up with an easy header from four yards for the opener.

Dobbie's header was blocked by Andrew Whing but he followed up with his first goal for the club and then produced a delightful last-minute goal.

The striker chipped the ball over Michel Kuipers when through on the goal, leaving himself a simple tap-in.

The victory was the first for the Liberty Stadium side under Paulo Sousa.

Turning to next Saturday, in many respects, this is a must win game for the Swans, with defeat possibly meaning the end for Paul Clement. Victory however, would give the Swans some momentum going into (seemingly) winnable games against Burnley & Bournemouth.

My heart says the Swans will win 2-1, but my head says a 1-1 draw.

Why not ,the timing of the subs yesterday was poor so that needs improving and I hope he sets the side up to win rather than hold onto a draw so put in 90 minutes effort as we saw yesterday and better decision making we may get something resembling a decent performance and a positive result .

Watched Brighton and Southampton game and didn't think there was any thing outstanding with either of them. Also Leicester doing to Everton what they did to us last week.

I thought Everton made Leicester look very ordinary certainly in the second half but the effort wasn't matched by creating many scoring opportunities and that's been their weakness ,if they get that sorted then I can see them getting out out of the bottom 3 and moving out of danger .

I really haven't got a clue on this one.
Brighton should be favourites. We play a bit worse than whoever we come up against.
Up until Laudrup left this would have been a home banker. Now I hope we won't lose.

    Clements team, probably

    Fab
    Naughton , Fernandez , Mawson , Clucas/Olsson (if fit)
    Ki , Sanches , Carroll
    Narsingh, Ayew
    Abraham

    My Team
    --------------------------Fab
    ------------Fernandez, Mawson, VDH,
    Naughton--------------------------------- Olsson(if fit)
    -------------Ki----------Fer------ Carroll
    ------------------Ayew/Routledege
    -------------------------Abraham

Bench - Keeper, Clucas, Messa, Fer, Ayew/Routledge, Dyer, Bony
Subs show just how thin our squad is.

We have to bare all and attack, as we did against Huddersfield, if we do we win. We don't have the personnel to be cute about it so playing any other way will be suicidal imo.
