    I have read this blog before and its an excellent summery on how if you can find the right balance with a few risks you can gain success, it also shows that if you dont find the right balance you can also sink like a stone. Its easier to reach the premiership than it is to stay there........january is a very important time in whether the club does enough in the transfer market to stay up. i believe we will with the right players.....

    Of course we are not the first and we wont be the last to rise from the depths to the top league in a relatively short time....apart from ourselves there have been ....fulham, watford, Bristol city just to name three, there are plenty more over the years that have equaled our success.....

    Carlisle & Northampton as well, although they were about 40 years ago. <whistle>

    If I remember correctly, Dave Bowen was manager of Northampton at the time, also part time manager of Wales.

    I think they went from the fourth to the first division in five or six seasons, then straight back down to the fourth in three years.
