On recent form you have to say that Spurs will remain a side who we've never beaten in the PL after their visit this weekend.
I don't have the belief that we can get a win - the team will have to inspire my confidence in them as it's quite low at the moment.

Agreed. Can't see us getting anything from this one. It's baffling how we started so well, looking very assured and then fell off the cliff.

There's no doubt we have the quality to be doing better, let's see what develops over the next few games. As it's looking right now we'll have a hell of a job getting back into the top ten... but things change so quickly in football as we all know.

Wins can come when you least expect them. Tottenham have Europa League again tonight (away at Monaco). 1-1

A 2 nil loss for us I fear. This week we'll see how good Monk really is. He knows we've been poor and he knows Spurs are on the up.

Our last few games have been poor, so I'm hoping we can only improve. 2-2.

Pick the right side and we can push spurs all the way and have a good chance of a win. Play fringe players with tika taka football going nowhere and we will be slaughtered. Play like we did at the beginning of the season with plenty of forward play and we can get something....

We have been lucky in recent games, Sunderland should have defeated us, while Palace could have been a draw. The City game was great to watch overall, yet they had SIlva/Kompany/Zabaleta/Hart missing, while Aguero wasn't on form. First half they outplayed us, it was a case of them being the better team, yet their average defensive unit allowing us back in the game (and the officials). Still, a great result for us but thumping City isn't a sign we're a great team.

I have lost count of the number of games in which we have performed to an average standard, yet Kane or Eriksen have pulled out a wonder strike, thats the danger for yourselves, there is belief in the team that if we're not winning by the 80th minute, the later stages are when the team is still fresh and last season we punished teams for not taking their chances when on top.

Anyhow, regardless of the result, no need for Swans to panic about a dip in form, you will still be challenging for top 8, with top 6 possible if you have a great season.

Everythings pointing at us losing this one but the team never cease to amaze so could raise their game against the big boys again and shock us with a good win ?
If they lose without giving everything they have and some, then they will get more **** from fans which wont help them out of the rut thats starting to form !
    3-2 swans win :emoticon-0107-sweat

Spot on. No one likes losing but busting a gut is the least you should expect from the players. I'm hoping there's a reaction to recent performances and I'm sure Monk will be pushing them hard.

Play like we started the season and we can beat anyone. Play like we have since the international break and we wont win many more games this season....

I have gone for a 2-1 win however I have no idea why. Perhaps Spurs will have the midweek moment especially as they played a strong side v Monaco. Lose and questions will start to be asked re Mr Monk

"Lose and questions will start to be asked re Mr Monk". Maybe, but we're expected to lose by most commentators so I doubt it will be extensive, if at all.

We have not looked like the side we started the season with and we need to get back playing that way....Monk has just said on the TV that he has a full squad to chose from so he has no excuses if we play like we have been playing and lose. We are at home and should be winning these sort of games now so we had better put in a good performance or Questions will be asked about his ability and rightly so.......I still believe in him but for how long then only he can answer that....

agree Dai hence the reason I have backed the Swans for a win. CFZ what the so called pundits think as per Kiffloms comment, this is a game we should win. I am however still worried about the lack of quality on the bench
