There seems a feeling amongst most Swans fans that Man City are unbeatable. Their last 5 away fixtures in the Premier League shows form that is unconvincing: Dec 26 â WBA 0 Man C 0 Jan 1 - Sunderland 1 Man C 0 Jan 16 â Wigan 0 Man C 1 Jan 31 â Everton 1 Man C 0 Feb 12 â Aston Villa 0 Man C 1 We can do it! UP THE JACKS
They haven't exactly covered themselves With glory away from home. I fancy our chances. It's going to be one heck of a game.
With the Wigan game in the bag & with our stay in the Premier next season seeming at least probable , this should be a no pressure , carefree game for us so I think we'll be fluent . Man City on the other hand are under pressure from United for the title & have a depleted defensive squad . A lot of Swan fans should be putting a bit of cash on this game for us to win . P/S. I think Buck might chance McEachran in the middle with Allen & Britton this game .
We have nothing to lose, no one is expecting points, if I was BR I would tell them to go out and play them off the park. They will be desperate for the points and will have some disruption with Kompany out and Tevez back, however good they are if they have a bad day we can take them. Graham goal and Sinclair penalty to win the game!
I'm expecting to lose this one after a good display from us. Should we get a draw, not unlikely, I would be a happy chappie. If we can somehow manage a win, it would easily be our best result of the season and should confirm our PL status for next season - not to mention the absolutely demoralising effect it would have on the teams around us. This will be a tough game and an excellent yardstick to judge our progress in this League. We were caught cold in the first game, now we have experience and there should be no excuse if we see a repeat scoreline, no matter how good Man City are. We have to remain focused and match their movement off the ball which will rip our defence to shreds if allowed the space. By the same token, I don't expect us to have too many chances at the other end, so we will have to make the most of what does come our way. Sincs, in particular, should learn just to get his shots on target instead of going for the glory strike as he has tended to do. Great game in prospect and I will settle for a good, competitive performance from us to underline that we belong here.
Exactly no expectation, pressure is on them, let's just enjoy playing a team with a squad value of £287 million and see what we can do!
Jeez , I was doing ok till you put up there squad value rhod , that's enough money to run a small country . It really does show what's wrong with the modern game
"There seems a feeling amongst most Swans fans that Man City are unbeatable." Haven't seen much evidence of that to be honest. Most comments I've read acknowledge City are a top team but are very much beatable. They also have some injuries in key places.
Would you believe incredibly stupid for the Leagues to let it get this far . It used to be football with a bit of business involved , now it's just bad business with a bit of football thrown in .
