As I've said earlier another embarrassment on the horizon. Club says done it in best interest of the fans, can't see that myself. In my opinion it almost constitutes fraud. It's not the way to do business. I'm not surprised the club have nothing further to say. Pay up and get it over with, another Priskin and Laudrup scenario, will they ever learn.

It may be Club is innocent in all this but this sort of thing smacks of a small-time businessman (Jenkins?) trying to pull a fast one rather than the way a Prem Club does business. Yet again it looks amateurish in the extreme. Priskin and the Laudrup sacking debacle tells me we might well be in the wrong here. Again.

Vorm was worth several million. I don't think anyone will argue that point.

It appears that he was part of the exchange process including Gylfi and Ben.

FIFA would sanction the deal - they have no reason not to.

As part of that deal it APPEARS we have undervalued Vorms real value.

Utrecht now claim they have a financial interest in Vorms sale price.

From a neutral point of view Utrecht appear to be correct. If that is the case someone at the Club should be sacked. If Utrecht are incorrect someone at their club should be sacked for not drawing up proper transfer documents.

Let's see what FIFA have to say.

If we've done wrong then the club have made us look like a two bob company, and that I will find shameful. This will put a slur against the good name of Swansea City.

Dai, you've hung drawn and quartered Jenkins several times over on many an occasion <laugh>. If we've cocked up we deserve a rollocking. If we haven't we don't. <ok>

There is no smoke without fire and whatever the outcome whether we are right or wrong we will still have the perceived stigma of underhand dealing.

Even if proven that the Club acted correctly the negative press is still that , negative until the investigation is completed and the verdict given , The Club has built up a reputation for displaying positivity in most aspects of the game and there are enough out there prepared to knock us down without our own contributing so who ever thought that this transfer would slip under the radar was naive in the extreme .

So you want the Swans to pay 30% of nothing, which is nothing?

That would depend on whether you viewed Vorms transfer value as zero.

All players that are a make weight in a transfer have a value and if two clubs are in dispute over this the fee should be set by a tribunal the same as normal transfers that are disputed

If Vorms transfer value matched Gylfi's and they were swapped then that is exactly the case as they would cancel eachother out, hence the straight swap deal. It's been done in football for years so the hot air being puffed by some here is just that. Let's not forget that the Utrecht club said the 30% relates to a "sell-on fee", not the players value at the time he leaves the club. They are completely different things and if the resident anti-Swansea brigade want to go down that road then perhaps they best be advised to show us all the contract or admit they know f**k all about the situation afterall.
