The Swans are off on a tour of America as part of preparations for next season and will be based in Chicago from July 6 to 20 and play two friendlies. Mexican Premier League side Chivas Guadalajara are the opponents at Miller Stadium on July 16 before Swansea face Minnesota United, who operated one level below Major League Soccer, at National Sports Centre Stadium, Blaine, three days later. The first week will be purely fitness work before the introduction of some game-time against Chivas and Minnesota in the second week. Was hoping they'd be playing against a couple of MLS teams, but happy with the Mexican club but damn wish they was played in Los Angeles as it would save the purse strings on the fuel bill as I hear you can get it by the bucket in that city.
