BBC website says... BBC Sport Wales also understands the Swans have made an improved offer for Newcastle's Wayne Routledge. Swansea also face competition from Nottingham Forest for the 26-year-old. It's at the bottom of the article about Lee Camp... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/14173001.stm
They would be two good signings, Camp was impressive the year we were in the Championship. As for Routledge thought personally he was still a good squad player for Newcastle, remember him causing Ashley Cole major problems during our 1-1 draw against them in November, so he'll be the sort of player who will help you stay in the league.
Why or why are we after this guy?? I'm was not impressed with his game against us when we drew with Newcastle at the Liberty, he couldn't handle Cotterill, and was in our pocket all game, surely we can do better than Routledge!............. please log in to view this image
Kebe could be a good shout, but Reading got a fair bit of money for Matt Mills, so they really don't have to sell. Kebe would have to pretty much demand to leave... reckon he'd fancy it?
Thought Cotterill was a winger, so wouldn't have been his job to take care of Cotteril and you can't judge someone on one game he is a good player, just for some reason Pardew thought Ryan Taylor was better.
I am with you cbrad. Watched him dectroy Bessone at the liberty, i think he is worth a punt. has to be a better option than Butler. Who is at the moment our only other wide player and i think i have more place than butler. Yes Kebe would be nice, but what would it cost us. We have to be realistic guys.
