This would be my dream start. Its not far fetched as it seems and would love to happen..

QPR V Swansea ....1-2.....A tough opener that we will get a result for a change.

Swansea V West Ham ....2-0.......we will be to strong for the newbies.

Swansea V Sunderland ....3-1.....overpowerd by our passing game and forward play.

Aston Villa V Swansea ...1-1 ...A tough game away but we should get a point.

Swansea V Everton.....2-2...everton always get a result against us....good side

Stoke V Swansea ....1-2....we are capable of beating a team similar to us but our passing should be to much for them..

My prediction for the first 6 games are :-

    P6...W4...D2...L0..GF12...GA6........PT'S 14

Good start to the season by Mr Laudrup with just a slight concern with the defence...

You have a point Dai but I'm not sure it'll be as rosy as you suggest. A quality CB is essential as musty says.

I'm sure Laudrup has his ideas, musty. I suspect that if we can't secure Caulker our new Manager will dip into the market he knows best - Spain.

Personally, I don't think we'll win at QPR or Stoke.

I'd say we can get points from first 8 games really.

Agreed that all these games are potentially winnable, but lets not get to carried away saying we expect points from these game. A few bad results from these will only end up leading to chants for the managers head and thats the last thing we want. Just go into this season as we did last season - with an open mind.

every single game will be tough and all im saying is what would be my dream start, I would like to win them all but that is unlikely but looking at the first 6 games then i think we can get points from every one of them.

I like the optimism but I have to agree that QPR is going to be a toughie, as will Stoke and Villa. Can see more draws than wins in the first 6 games

I love a bit of optimism but one thing being a Jack has taught me is that we never do things the easy way. Also last season taught us that any game is winnable e.g Man City, Arsenal etc. We won't beat every team around the same position as us but we'll get a few shock results (I hope) which will even things out. I hope we go on a good run at the start of the season though.

I see QPR as being a very hard opener but under a new manager who knows what's possible. Here's to the new season <cheers>

Sorry Dai but the most I see us getting there out of the first 6 games is 9 points! We don't do well against the bottom sides, that like to get in our face, and QPR and Norwich showed how to do it. Now if Laudrup got a strategy for these type of teams, then you could be right!............... <cheers>

thats what im hoping dragon.....I hope that now with a more attacking coach in Mr Laudrup that we will play more in the oppositions half that will result in more goals.....We showed last season that there was not many sides that could match us for possession but we lacked going forward in lots of games. I think Mr Laudrup will get to grips with this and emphasis on going forward and finishing better and kill games off when in front for a change, danny will play better under Mr Laudrup i have a feeling..... and whoever else we bring in will add some spice and goals...i hope. I am more excited in the anticipation under Mr Laudrup than i was under Rodgers or Martinez....

Of course it can go the other way...but I have faith that we will do well without putting pressure on Mr Laudrup and his ideals for us in his first season in British football....In Mr laudrup we trust......

14 points from 6 and I will be in dreamland. I think 9-10pts will give us a good start. I just want that 1st away win early on
