Who is your player of the month and who deserves a mention....... mine is Chico...POM mention for outstanding display.....KI.... I would also give a well played to Monk for his display in keeping torres quiet....
Think this is a tough one, as quiet a few of the lads have been awesome, if I had to go with anyone I think it would be Michu, simply because his work rate up front is phenomenal, and he's not selfish, if he can see a killer pass for goal he'll make it, Ki, Chico, and Routledge would be contenders for second spot, and an honouree mention for Britton, Dyer, and Hernandez............. Did he? missed that, thought Rangel did the number on Torres!............. Some squad members need mentioning, thought Jazz was very good and was impressed with Tiendalli too!.......
Michu for his goals and all round contribution. HMs for Ki, Chico, Pablo, Brits, Routs..... oh, what the hell, the rest of the team en bloc. They have started to gel together as a TEAM but the first three (HMs) have shown a marked improvement recently.
Davies, for the fact of coming in with not much experience, and playing solidly...And from what I've heard and seen, he's not really done anything wrong. So thumbs up to him. Britton has been solid as well.. player I quite like Du Guzman, glad he is in the team. Michu is a special player.... I just wonder about Joe Allen...He became a mix between Little Leon and Ferrie Bodde didn't he...Both of those players were very influential to joe...you can see it in his play....I wonder, if he had played with Michu for a bit if Joe could have become the perfect. Leons Accuracy, Boddes skill and tenacity, and Michus finishing
I'm going for Ki, think that lad has put in some real solid displays and getting better all the time.
Good point Rhys! and one of the reasons why I didn't want to see him go. Under Martinez Joe was offencive, and very much like Bodde in some respects, remember Ferrie stating that Joe would go on to greater things, and he was right. Sousa unfortunately played Joe far to defensively, and it kind of killed off his attacking game, think Laudrup would have got him back to the attacking midfield roll, in next to no time, but there you go, water under the bridge now. Not sure moving to Liverpool was 'great Things' though, but we do miss his presence on times in my view!.................
I dont think we have missed joe allen or brendan one bit tbh....I dont think i can quite say we haven't missed caulker though but we are getting there....
For me it would be Routledge, he has been oustanding, incredible close ball skills, scored and setup goals
Tough to pick. Michu for his versatility, application, and GOALS. As for second .... ML for his vision and making them all come together into a team, gaining cohesion with each game. ML is not on the field but he's like having an extra player.
...... Another pearler gone begging, hell he's slow tonight, but then what the hell would Dai know about Facts!.......... please log in to view this image
Loving Routledge at the moment, graet work rate, improving defensively every game add to that his assists totally agree he is like a new signing. Ben Davies is doing well considering age and experience and think if he carries on the way he is going by the end of the season Taylor will have a fight on his hands next year. But for POM it has to be Michu ,if not only for the fact he is currently 4th top scorer in the Premiership but his awareness, threat in front of goal and all round work rate (as busy as DG but more effective in front of goal).
