Last Friday was the 100th anniversary of the first professional game played by Swansea Town AFC, a 1-1 draw against Cardiff at the Vetch Field. I am workng on a project to record and preserve memories and stories and memorabilia about the first 100 years of the Swans, and make a digital on-line archive. I have seen some posts from people with old programmes and other docuemnts, which we would love to copy for our archive. (please note guys we are not collecting actual physical items, although we might ask to borrow them for copying, and we do not give any opinion on the monetary value of any items. We are interested in the historical value, and any good stories that belong with the stuff, e.g. your grandfather played for the Swans, or left you a box of stuff from his loft or similar after 50 years of supporting the team, or something like that, or you just like collecting things!).
