Sven has said it is going to be a busy summer and when you look closely at the side, remove the loan players and those who quite clearly won't play again then we look very thin on the ground. I hope Hobbs gets a chance alongside Bamba but I think not, Berner will probably leave as will Neilson, Lamey, Moreno and probably Howard all of who have played a handfull of games this season. More than anything I hope Sven signs are competitive hard nut for the midfield, I don't think this is Sven's type of player but he must know by now that you need one of these to get you through those ugly games, he has said enough times this season we aren't tough enough so I hope he will do something about it - we need someone who puts fears into other teams and when we play them managers thinking they are a tough side but can also play a bit too. We haven't had a tough nut for a few years now, other than on loan so this is big priority for me, alongside more experience. I reckon he'll need about 10 players all in all, hopefully more perms than loans too. A busy summer Sven, please spend your money wisely!!
Ive got a feeling that we wont see Hobbs again. I read that Nigel has him as his number 1 transfer target and i dont think Sven will gurantee him first team football which he wants/needs!
