http://www.thisisleicestershire.co....ging-winning/story-13493561-detail/story.html I for one was someone who said that there should be no debate over the starting XI for the next match because nobody deserves to lose their place, therefore there is no need for change - no matter the name or reputation of the players coming back from injury. Also, it's clear that the diamond is our best formation and certainly is what the players prefer playing in (they've even said as much) and we seem to have found a nice balance between attack and defence since we've played the diamond for 90 minutes. So why change?? If there is one thing that does annoy me at times with Sven is that his tinkering when it isn't needed and the fact that at times he does tend to pick players on reputation over form. Also, Andy King has picked up a back injury and has been ruled out for Wales. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15096261.stm Thoughts.
The starting 11 should stay the same but with Wellens, Gallagher, Johnson and Beckford all back from injuries the bench should be different. But saying that Howard, Schlupp and Dyer all made impacts coming off the bench against Derby
The thing is he talks about having a competitive squad but it isn't competitive at all. He just wants to pick his favourites and not choose a team on merit. Why is he being so stubborn?
yh i read this story earlier. first of all the formation should not change at all. i'd like to see nugent and beckford together and im guessing that most of would be thinking the same. as already stated in this thread only change if neccessary should be beckford for vassell
