hmm, going for someones neck with a broken glass is attempted murder in my book, could be a vacant seat at force india soon. A bit of fisticuffs, ok, but when you start using weapons it's time for a spell inside.
The way I see it, this is a private incident and so the FIA, Force India and any other external parties should not get involved, or try to take action in any way. The only consequence for Sutil (in F1) should be saying goodbye to a Renault drive in the future.
my point isn't that Force india will sack him, but that any attack with what is in reality a deadly weapon should mean a prison sentence. However I would be unsurprised to find money and power keeping him on the outside. Lux's face can't be worth 14m? SilverArrow, I don't think the incident will cost Sutil his seat, but you never know. Force India aren't short of talent and Sutil has effectively become the No.2 driver at Force India - in theory.
What are the odds having those charges dropped if Sutil replaces Petrov in Renault for lets say 2-3 years? @Jose I suppose the only way is: What's the first thing that will come to your mind "now" if the name Sutil comes up, compared to Di Resta. Clean reputations are very important in F1 unless your name is Alonso, Schumacher or Lewis. Something will happen regarding his career and I think Force India will distance themselves from him.
