Last Updated: August 29, 2012 8:59pm Sky Sports understands Queens Park Rangers starlet Frankie Sutherland has agreed a new long-term contract. Sutherland has come through the youth ranks at Loftus Road and is rated very highly by their coaching staff. Also a Republic of Ireland youth international, Sutherland is understood to have been attracting attention from elsewhere in the Premier League. However, the boyhood QPR fan has pledged his long-term future to the Hoops. Sutherland's progress was rewarded earlier this week when he was handed a squad number ahead of their Capital One Cup clash with Walsall on Tuesday. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/8032002/? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Anyone know how long contract he's got? Must say I really like the way we take care of our talents at the moment. And if he's attracted interest from elsewere in the Prem it sounds all the better. Especially after watching how well Sterling does at Liverpool. He got shirt #30 by the way.
