As boring as it looks because i used to love it back in the day, as a kid id pass this sign daily and always spend about half an hour climbing on it. Fast forward 35 years my lads are doing the same for the first time infront of me. Has anybody else got a story like this??
I used to live down that way (Stockton). Near to anyway. Was just around the corner from the academy/school, near the bridge. Think it was called Aiden Court.
parent’s ran senators pub from 88-93ish and I went to white house primary just round the corner from elm tree I was class at roller skating, could go round corners backwards and everything in my Hummel safc trackie
My eldest lad is big into music. I recently gave him an old turntable of mine and some other bits from the attic to make a proper hifi in his room. He has never had to experience buying music, or hunting down old vinyl at record fairs. Now, he is shoulder to shoulder with me, rifling through racks of old vinyl looking for some gems. I stood and watched him pay for 3 old Beatles records at a fair a couple of weeks ago and thought thats my boy.
