I've always suspected this and never bought the owners' line that Rodgers was the main man. If you look at the timeline and think back it was pretty obvious. The media glossed over it, of course, much as they have with Rodgers' shameful coming in for our players after a promise not to do so. When he stops being their darling maybe they'll remember these facts.
