    Oh the covers are on👍

@bcfctweets: The covers are on at Ashton Gate as the groundstaff do all they can to ensure the Peterborough game tomorrow will go ahead. #BristolCity

Red Robin, mate you ain't doing yourself any favours here. Just because you arrived there early the other day don't mean that the covers were not on!!
The rain came down 2-3 hours prior to kickoff which would of been the time the covers would of had to come off. So nothing was going to prevent the game the other day. You can't keep covers on the ground for too long prior to the match as the surface needs to breath.

ROD the covers were not put on prior to the Watford game,Ipswich had theirs on midweek to make sure our game went ahead,i believe they adjust them so the grass can breath normally and the water runs away.

So what is weather this morning in BS3?
Looking at BBC weather, it's heavy rain now but clearing about midday/1pm.

PS; we have stair rods and thunder here in not sunny Portugal.

Weather in Bristol is fairly awful Cidered Abroad. Very heavy rain showers and very windy. It might actually help our cause if the weather is bad this afternoon in the hope that Peterborough make more mistakes on the slippery surface than we do....

    From OTIB

@bcfctweetsPitch has been covered and although galeforce winds displaced some covers overnight, there was no rainfall. Pitch has been covered again.

@bcfctweetsThere is NO pitch inspection planned ahead of*#BristolCity*v Peterborough United.

Hey ROD,. If the Severn Bridge is under water, can you still get a ferry over here for the match???

The heavy rain has stopped now in North Somerset, so it looks as though the game should be OK.
