    If everyone think's we're broke, they won't ask us to fork out much.

    If people think we're broke, then they may think they can get our players for cheaper prices. Remember when we tried to sign Ambrose, Palace we're broke and needed money. They had accepted a bid of 0.75million from us, but after they we're taken over, they demanded 1million.
