    Hart
    Naughton-Jones-Lescott-A.Cole
    Walcott-Parker-Wilshere - The OC
    Sturridge - Rooney

    ---

If that team doesn't fire us to the semi-finals in the euros, I don't know what will!

    1)Naughton is better than Walker
2)Pace down the RHS is unbelievable

Lennon is over-rated and Oxlade-Chamberlain is better
Gerrard is an old man, the new england should cull all the oldies bar parker because he is still amazing.

NO NO NO to that donkey Ferdinand, he is just awful, no to Lampard, no to Glen Johnson or Richards

What about glen johnson at LB he's playing well there for Liverpool. Bertrand will get there eventually I reckon.

I don't necessarily think age is a problem for Gerard, certainly his fitness is. I still think he is the most dynamic midfielder we have. He certainly makes a difference to Liverpool.

He's not the only one though is he? Most players seem to be 'on fire' for their clubs, but when they get to play for England, especially in major finals, they suddenly seem to have a dip in form. Wonder why that is? <whistle>

Er, I put The Ox in there as well <ok> Personally I actually prefer Adam Johnson to either Lennon or Walcott, so stick him on the left and The Ox on the right in that team. If Gerrard is fit he has to be in the midfield, he is still absolute quality in my opinion and won't have Lampard competing for the same space. Micah Richards is the best RB in my opinion, I think he's a superb player and massively under-rated for some reason.

I think Having a foriegn manager is morally cheating so any victory to me is meaningless, Club football is different and i think you'll find we are flying at the moment....

To me this is a poison chalice job, if I was Rednapp I would think twice about it, if offered. He has done well at Spurs, and it would be a big wrench to leave them. To do both jobs would be absolute nonsense, would be unfair on his current employers. International managers are not really involved on a day to day basis, something I am sure he would miss. Your obviously working towards the world cup, and the european championships, but there are long periods between matches, with friendly matches thrown in, and arguably these kind of matches should be abondoned. I do not go along with the theory that the manager should be English, for me it has got to be the best person for the job, irrespective of where they come from.

Good team BUT you can't leave out Barry & Milner!

I would also have a place for Defoe.

How about putting one of these so-called football pundits from MOTD like Hansen or Lawrenson in charge for one game and see how well they do, as they are always going on about various players doing this wrong and that wrong, and should have done this or that - It's easy to give "Expert" opinion off the pitch in a TV studio, but something different when it comes to passing it on to the players on the pitch.

As for Manager - Redknapp (provided Spurs stay away from Lambert!!)

    I think I'd play

    Hart
    Richards, Jones, undecided, Cole
    Milner, Parker, Wiltshire/Gerrard, Johnson
    Rooney, Bent.

To me this team has a good balance to it, something and England team has not had for a very long time and a team who may not be the best technically but most of the players bar Wiltshire and possibly have stereotypical english strengths, to play high tempo football which also an england team have not done for some time..

Why is everyone putting Wilshere into the side?

Last time I looked hes hasn't played for Arsenal for yonks so what makes you think that he would be fit enough and in form to play for England at the Euros! Milner and Barry everytime <ok>
