I am feeling a sense of togetherness with our fellow Welsh team today and would love to see them win. Looks like a good atmosphere. Would have been nice to have got a ticket for this one. Come on the Cewnty
Afternoon Bob. Yep. Right behind them in their fishy undertakings. Good stuff from our cousins too. All welsh final?

Afternoon Bob. Yep. Good luck to County in their fishy undertakings. Good stuff from our other cousins too. All Welsh final?
Clingo's back in triplicate. I do like the Grimsby shirt for some reason fella. Cracking goal from Jolley.

Wrexham have won and Newport 1-0 up with 60 minutes gone. Just found the game on S4C, been trawling the Welsh channels on sky.
Another Welsh team back in the Football League - what a great season with us getting to the Prem and the Swans showing the others up there just what can be achieved. Not sure who I'd like to win the PO final. Maybe Wrexham would be better to get the Gogs back involved - on the other hand, Newport have worked wonders this past few years and would get a lot of support from those of us around here (until they get to the Prem that is..........).
I'm not sure who I would want either. Overall, I would want the one to win who was least likely to be able to do it again next year. A bit backward logic I know but then we would have a better chance of the other team doing it next year. But I have a lot of sympathy with Newport as a team from long ago....and I've seen one more of their games than Wrexham. It was versus Hereford....evening match....and a cracker it was too.
Got to be Newport who have come back from nowhere after going totally bust in 1988 - not even in Admin or whatever the option was at that time. It has been a long hard road around a few different home grounds after the FAW (twats) refused to allow the reformed club to initially play in Wales. Congratulations to all at Newport who have fought so long and hard to get to this position. I know Wrexham have hard times as well and their fans put their hands deeply in their pockets to keep the club alive - full credit to them and a well deserved cup victory a couple of weeks ago. However, as AFC Wimbledon did, Newport have grown back more or less from obliteration and it would be an amazing achievement for them to regain Football League status.
Agreed BfB! Cewnty have waited 25 years to come back into the league. I'm certain Wrexham will go up next season and make it 4 Welsh clubs.
I'llbe rooting for Cewnty. Only because there will be more of a chance of us getting them in a cup and I've never experienced a City v Cewnty game before
HT you haven't lived then. David v Goliath when David doesn't care how big Goliath is - and that's just the fans!!!! Been to a few in my time and it can make us and the Jacks look like a tea party.
I will be definitely rooting for Wrexham, The County lot hate us, 'Shoes off if you hate Cardiff' ....arrrsse. I would rather a North Wales team get back into the league, and Wrexham are capable of progressing, The Pill...ocks aren't.
Only ever went to Somerton Park to watch speedway. The Rodney Parade ground looked a bit bumpy yesterday and the build of a few of their players wouldn't have looked out of place in the Dragons team. Great result though. I'd quite like Newport to go up for the same reason as Frankfurter's logic, I think Wrexham could do it again next year though Newport may not. Either way, I hope whoever comes up stays up.
No, don't want Gogs around us. Anywhere within 5 yards of them is a splash zone when they start speaking.
