    Average attendances:

    Fulham - 18,220
    QPR - 17,807

Apart from having a mild dig at our less noisy neighbours, the purpose of the post is to take a punt at what our attendances mean from a financial point of view.

We had been averaging a tad over 24,000 in the Premiership but of course played 4 home games per season fewer. Also, this season attendances have been boosted by the away support and (arguably) they have been paying Premiership prices. So, (using rough assumptions on the ticket prices per head per game) total revenue is down something like £1.6m.

Taking this a step further and into Mr Khan’s sustainable arena that figure makes only a small dent in the ’Parachute Payment”.
