Anyone watching it? I think the most exciting thing about it has been the halftime show for me. The refs in this game are shocking, allowing handballs, shoulder pads and helmets and where are the ****ing goals? The FA are ****e.
4 million dollars per 30 seconds of commercial.... All the sponsors, billions poured into this...... Power outage for 34 minutes delaying the game in the 3rd.
Can't get in to it at all. When the game starts to get slightly interesting their's a break. Also, the players over celebrate when they a. Tackle and b. gain a yard or so.
I get the impression that the fans are rather like cricket fans in that they are fully into the minutae of the formations and strategies. However all the crap that surrounds the game make a mockery of it. Beyonce was absolute rubbish - lots of posturing and nothing much more. BTW somebody reminf the organisers to keep feeding the elecy meter.
Saw it (sorry, I like the NFL, don't shoot me!) Not a fan of either team but didn't want the Ravens to win, esp. with the double murder, 4 kids with three women, hypocrite Ray Lewis in the team, man preaches as if he's the second coming but he's nothing but a thug that should be in jail! Rant over.. Half game show, meh! Power outage pissed me off, some of us need to work the next (same) day! Now, back to the Daniel Sturridge thread!
